54 girls jumping in front of a train to their death causes many more suicides across Japan. That's the premise of this rather complicated and quite confusing film that is hard to forget about. A movie that is still talked about and discussed right now since its release in 2001.

"Death Parade" Is an Anime I Watched
I watched Death Parade for the second time. I own the collector's box set that costed me more than I'd like to admit for a reason. What I want to say is that this show was something I adore! But... that being said...

Japanese McDonald's and Their Menu Item Names
I really like McDonald's. I eat it almost every week and there doesn't seem to be an end to this routine. I figured out how to eat healthier when I'm there and not end up like what they tell you in Super Size Me (thanks Fat Head). Eating at the famous fast food got me wanting to try so many new things found on their menu, from the Seriously Chicken burger (which seems to only be a thing in Canada) to the Ebi Filet-O in Japan. Ebi Filet-O...Ebi Filet-O...

DEFCON in Society (and Nothing Nuclear)
Due to the current culture war over political correctness, focusing on "the world" over a nation's own, and more current issues overtaking conversation points and people quick to advocate for the newest hot trend that goes against anything traditional from what it seems, there's a point when enough is enough. Economic crash, riots, civil war and some more of that are expected by some to happen within our lifetime. I thought creating a DEFCON not for a nuclear threat but the threat levels for instability within society would be good to look at if the life we're living is at risk over some form of crash. Focus
Thinking about the general direction of this blog, I have decided that the main focus will be moving towards the realm of video games, televised entertainment (films, anime, cartoons and TV shows), literature and my essays which may or may not apply to the real world. It's not exactly fun driving without knowing where you're supposed to be driving to or having no understanding of where you're headed so I wanted to make this clear to you and myself. Especially myself. I am the driver here.

Characters I Wouldn't Be Surprised to See in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The Super Smash Bros. series has a very close place to my heart. The original on the Nintendo 64 was the first video game I leaned hard on. Now we have Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and I have yet to get my hands on it (not to mention a Nintendo Switch). But with Joker from Persona 5 to receive an invitation and everybody going wild for the next third-party DLC fighter(s), it's getting hard keeping these thoughts to myself and I believe I got a pretty good idea on who got the best chances of entering the ultimate battle.

GamerGate and the Hard Pill I Swallowed
It was the summer of August 2014. I still remember watching videos of Five Guys and the delicious burgers they would cook up. The sizzle on the grill got my taste buds anticipating an experience I had to get out of my house to relish. Unfortunately that would have been a preferable alternative to what happened at the time.
